And while the amount of divinity points is low- They're hassle free and don't require a minion reset, which is pretty big imo for where I am in the game. I haven't reset my minions at all but have several of the (admittedly cheaper) divinity boosts. Could've had more; But that more is paid for in lost souls.
I do agree that the souls reward is meh; But I've also barely seen souls as a reward compared to everything else, and really, I expect any random-box type element to have a '♥♥♥♥♥♥ reward' within as well as an 'awesome' reward and several middling ones.
Sometimes good luck, sometimes bad luck :)
Also, you could constantly reset your minions when they reach max level. The CpS bonus doesn't really matter. Maybe you don't want all the divinities, but later down the line, you can upgarde your armory items with divinity points
