It's so much more complex. To put it simply, there is no good guys. As the story progress, the good side doesn't seems so good. I don't find it's great litterature, but I fail to see how it's anti-semitic. There is a big parallel with the nazism but the story is about fighting it.

TL;DR: basically all sides are to blame in AOT. So I fail to see how it could be against a particular group.

aot indeed came across as pretty fascist (certainly no semites involved, though, WTF). but the main issue was that when Eren got the ability to turn into a titan it became just one more stupid shonen ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ series like naruto or one piece or any other shonen ♥♥♥♥ where the main character is unbeatable. and I guess later on they went full Dragonball... without the quality and likeable characters, that is

eren should have died in that titan, and the main character status should have switched to his friends. now THAT would have made it unique!
