The only way I see to make progress is to get lucky with random boxes and combine multipliers (9x/18x CpS, equipment CpS boost, coin value multiplier), otherwise it is really slow trying to rely on the ascension bonus.
I really wish crafting could be used to help out with this, but it seems to be rather useless once you've crafted stuff. It would be nice if there were repeatable craft items that made it actually useful to keep gathering materials.
It seems even with the soul bonus that should of increased me at last ascension by 52,841% CsP.
52,841 PERCENT CsP. So I think we can agree that I did leave it for well over a couple of weeks for sure. Yet, it is still going at the same speed, sticking me at the same section. Is it broken or what am I missing? I feel I must be missing something, as I can see others have gotten the achievements past this section.
Does it only count the CpS bonus for unspent souls? I mean I have bought the ascension upgrades as I can afford them, so wondering if I am just confused on this. Or does it count both spent and unspent towards that total bonus?
I like the game, but this wall is destroying my want to continue. The Ascended percentage seems like a damn joke. 50,000+% and early coins should be MUCH more than what it seems like I'm getting.
I knew going in that this game was a long term game, but when it takes WEEKS to get a single powerup in a skill tree that I'm only at the mid-beginning where powerups take 3-5k per. The MILLION ones seem impossible.
edit - I would also like to know about the cps bonus. Does it only work on unspent souls? Because it would make sense because I tend to spend them asap.
I wanted to switch to pc to use an autoclicker to gather materials because i dont get them when im afk(strange for an idle game). but it seems the crafting upgrades dont have that much of an impact.
The next upgrades cost around 500 dec but i can hardly hit ~10 dec grinding for hours with my level 100 gloves and the offline progress doesnt seems to help much. And i need to grind around 5 hours to get the next slayer upgrade.
I dont know if i can bare anymore the extreme repetitive grindy in exchange for some crumbles and i also dont know if i can keep the interest farming offline for weeks.
Im so frustrated with this wall progress, someone knows if i can do something about it? cause i loved the game, but im having such a hard time.
If you feel stuck you probably are not progressing your quests. QUESTS MATTER! Being in the RIGHT DIMENSION to progress your quests matter! The quests unlock the Golves, and later the Cape.
These unlocks break your CpS plateaus getting you to higher ranges. Once you start to plateau with the cape look at unlocking item crafting with the magic bag. Then you will be close to Ultra Ascending (total reset) which will unlock another progression bonus, Ultra Ascension Points, that will again break your plateaus yet again. Then after a couple of Ultra Ascensions you will unlock the village, which will unlock more quests. Rinse and repeat.
TLDR; if your plateauing make sure your targeting the right progression.
Quest:Gloves->Quest:Cape->MagicBag:Crafting->UltraAscension:UAPoints->Village:Quests:Upgrades->
Probably because it is a very common question and they included new information. Believe it or not, years old questions will still show up on Google searches and people do still stumble across them.
I understand moderators for forums wanting to keep everything tidy, but this is just Steam discussions where information is not aggregated like it would be on a forum.
