"Cannot connect to the server" since update (yesterday)
My game had an update yesterday and since then I have been unable to play. When I open the game it says "Connecting..." then an error comes up that states "Cannot connect to the server. Please check your internet connection. Also check if your device date is configured correctly."

It definitely isn't my internet or device date and the only thing that has changed since yesterday, when I could play fine is the update. I've been opening the game every day since I got it and have never run into this issue prior to yesterday after the update installed.

Yes, it worked. I did make sure my computer's date/time was synced up after the first time I received the error and have tried loading the game several times since and I'm still receiving the same error.

I have Malwarebytes and Windows Defender but I've never run into problems before with firewalls. I forgot to mention I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and am still receiving the same error.

It's working now. Not sure exactly why because nothing's changed really, but it has worked the last 3 times I've tried to start it.

Ok. Thanks for updating this.

I added a status code of the error which might be helpful to understand better the issue for the next time.

I've changed the way it was taking the time. Let me know if it has improved.

I have the same porblem for a week "Cannot connect to the server" whenever i close the game, progress just stop there, 0 increase when game is closed, and no silver box at all.
I tried that timezone link, it's working fine.

I haven't had any issues since it resolved itself, sorry I didn't see the response for so long.

These are some of the steps I took to try and resolve it if you want to see if they might work for you:

1) Restart the computer
2) Go to Date & Time and re-sync your clock
3) Uninstall/reinstall game
