White screen glitch

This happens way too much to my likings.. Almost everytime I start a battle my screen turns white and I cant see anything anymore.. It is really annoying because it makes the game unplayable.. Anyone else with this problem? Also is anyone aware of a fix? I really want to play this game, finished SOT and WW so.. :D thanks!

I also had a bug where the screen would quickly turn white. I fixed it by just turning off Anti-Aliasing.

Yep worked for me to, I also wrote a support ticket about it to ubisoft maybe they will repair it if lot's of people send complaints :) I want to play the whole series and think since the game is still sold and they get payed for it they also should make sure it works ! It looks rather crisp on 4K resolution with nvidia DSR :)

Just experienced the white screen bug when the first time you meet the dog enemies who siphon the sand from you. Disabling fog, and turning of v-sync did nothing for me. However turning off anti-aliasing worked like a charm.

Hey there, a lot of thanks, I was having the same problem in multiple places of the game, and turning off Fog and Vsync didn't help but disabling Anti-Aliasing has fixed it for me!

Hi everyone thank you for sharing your workarounds in the thread, I had a similar issue with the older Price of Persia games, for me Sands of Time, that was resolved when I removed the fog effect. Please bare in mind that these games were released some time ago and may run into compatibility problems with video settings on newer computers so may need some tweaks to appear correctly on newer systems.

I will mark this comment above as the answer to help our other players and I appreciate your feedback for players who are using 4K set ups too. Perhaps we will be able to see a remaster for PC versions of the other titles in the franchise after the Sands of Time Remake in the future, you never know and fingers crossed!
