Guardrail drop bug

After finishing Warrior Within, I wanted to take on Two Thrones and finish this awesome trilogy. But there's a bug (which is present since the start of the tutorial). Whenever I go over a guardrail, the Prince doesn't hang there : he automatically drops.
Which :
1) causes him to die if he's high enough
2) forbids any progress in the game because that move is absolutely primordial.

Does anyone has the same issue ? If yes, how did you solve it ?

Alright, the issue is solved (without me knowing to much how I did it.)
What I did :
- Reinstalling (not solved anything)
- Deleting all my profiles and saves
- New save game
- No option change AT ALL before the first guardrail in the tutorial.

I could change options after that. I don't know if there's a link.

u need to enable the v-sync to stop falling down from those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ guardrail . i almost went crazy to figue tht one out .

Fell down 5 times, ended up Googling for the issue and this came on top. Enabling the VSync helped instantly, thanks!

does anyone find solution im trying to play now in 2021 , tried enabling vsync in game and nvidia settings no help at all still droping and thats it

I found fix, need put vsync on, all aliasing off all effects off, nvidia control panel lock fps at 58 and controller settings default really bad need change them all by yourself on xbox 360 controller

Thank you for your reply Kung-fucijus, I appreciate you sharing your experience and what worked for you.

Capping your fps to a certain number and activating Vsync, is a solution that has worked for a few of our Prince of Persia games that seem out of sync on modern PC's.

I will mark this topic as answered to help other players who experience the same issue with timing and controller inputs sometimes not being recognized. Thanks again!
