The wind of sand power doesn't work

So, i got the wind of sand power, witch has the input of tapping the rewind button while you block, and it does nothing. When i tap the rewind button, with my 6 sand tanks, he just momentarily exits guard stance to his normal stance and nothing happens. Anyone has/had the same problem? if so, anyone know how to fix it? I probably don't REALLY need it, but it pisses me off that i can't use it.

Are you still encountering this issue?

If so, does it still persist after verifying the game's files[ubi.li] or retrying via an earlier save (if available)?

For any future people who find this post its due to xinput controllers not letting you push both triggers at the same time.

Option 1 is change the buttons to use the bumpers instead.
option 2 is use steam input to set the left trigger to R.

there are other options if you want to google.
