Playstation controller symbols?

So I'm playing HAAK with a Playstation controller, but the in-game buttons that are referred to are something related to an Xbox-controller, I assume? Is there any way to make the game reference a Playstation controller? I mean, I get around obviously, but it would make my brain function a lot smoother if I didn't have to translate all the time.

Unfortunately, a lot of pc games don't have the option (and especially if they're PC only titles.) If it doesn't automatically change or there's no toggle in the game menu. Most developers just assume everyone is using a xbx controller because x-input is kinda the default on Windows (because it's Microsoft). Maybe a mod might come out, but unless the Devs add code where you can switch them (which can be come complex if they didn't plan for it) you're mostly just lucky the PS controller is even working. I'm in the same Boat, I prefer PS controllers, but aside from only buying PC games from a short list that have the option, the best I can do is just try to keep reminding myself the left button is X and the right button is B (because xbox)
