Game is no longer compatible with my device?

Starting today, when trying to log in, I receive a pop-up saying my devise must be upgraded in order to play the game. My steam settings says that updates wil be carried out automatically. Does anyone else have this? I play on my laptop, so it's not like I can update my Windows or anything. Is this an in-game problem? Love to hear from you!

Yeah, it keeps telling me that my game client is out of date, but there's no update on Steam. At all. I've verified files and restarted Steam multiple times. This seems to be an error on the game's side...
