This thread is created to discuss official data about the development of the game, opinions of fanboys that will deny the words of the official dev in the official page please abstein to comment how much you like something that's a scam and was proofed (by the dev) that scamming people isnt the way to keep players in the game.

Words of the dev: " SMASH LEGENDS has a strong initial retention rate, the numbers tend to fall off faster compared to other games during the process where players get accustomed to the game"

as I said before and for that was attacked by the mod of this section, this game is a scam and will never mantain players if they keep scamming people with a non understandable system of gems, money and ads.

Hope my words come to the guy that thinks that selling casino coins in the form of boxes read this so he can understand that pitty words about his work doesn't do much if he keep scamming people.

I can't see where the scam is. I mean we have mobile moba game with far more predatory monetization, buttons everywhere that lead to the shop, battlepass that give rank down protection, rigged rate for pulls, event that always requires top-up, etc, in short: far worse than smash legends (not saying that smash legends is that expensive or predatory to begin with) and guess what, that game is still one of the biggest game out there with big esport scene. If this game is dying, it's not because of scam. How did you even arrive at that conclusion I would never understand.

Game isn't falling down, and devs never said that. They said it months ago, but it's been 1y game is increasing. The fall was from March to October (November) 2022, not now.
They're still kinda weak, but they're better from before. Try to understand it.

New map is planned for early next year though it's a recycled map, slightly changed. But again, they had not enough 3d devs to make it before.

There's a lot of new players, actually, there are more new players than before rework for your information. I do know this, as we got told about it.

There are 100k+ DL by month, by the way.

While IT IS TRUE that a lot doesn't stay long (like all games) retention is still higher than before. They never said it wasn't higher than before, you're yet again twisting things to fulfill your hate, they said it wasn't high enough, and most importantly, that it didn't lasted enough.

They reworked newbies experience to improve these exact issues, and it definitely works, though it'll need more.

Gladly games that have 50M on Play Store doesn't actually have 50M players, or their servers wouldn't exists.
I think you fail to know what is a base retention rate, but well.
Also, we have an average of 350 on Steam (simultaneous), right now even more.
We don't have stats for mobile, but it's way higher, as I do know peaks that the game reached in terms of daily active users, it's way, way, way more. But I have no clues for simultaneous.
If you were actually playing, which you probably don't since a lot of time, you would see you actually match against a lot of people in casual. Actually, there's currently a matchmaking issues that they investigate, but this is unrelated.
