In your question i understant only Critical Error.
The Critical Error is in FarCry normaly a Graphic ERROR by the Cryengine.

There don't exist solution for the Cryengine Error.

But when the problem is not the graphic, only the lanquagees, soo put the FarCry languagees to English.

I was able to fix it by editing the system.cfg file located in the main directory of my "Far Cry"-installation. In my case that file was located in: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Far Cry\system.cfg".

Open that file with your normal Windows "Editor" (not "WordPad"!) and ajust the line "g_language" so that it will look like that:

g_language = "english"

Since I'm from germany (and probably because my windows-installation is german) it was set to "german" originally. After I ajusted this line I was able to launch "Far Cry".
