Far Cry

Far Cry 1: Checkpoints not saved
Installed Far cry 1 from the package "Far cry franchise".
The checkpoints, when I return to main menu or quit and restart the game, are not saved!
I tried to check "local game cache files", some appeared needed to downloaded again: I restarted, rechecked, local game cache files were then OK, but the problem is still here.
I recheck game cache files: again some cache files with problems.
I don't know what to do... :-(

On the left you must first select level from which to load checkpoint. See my screenshots for Far Cry.

Did you create your own profile? For me the default profile had glitched checkpoints.

Thanks that worked for me. I clicked on campaign and THEN Load Checkpoint, all I saw on the left was Training and on the right was blank, so I clicked on Training in the left and all my saves appeared under Checkpoint on the right.

So,i had problem where my checkpoints wouldnt save by themself so i wanted to manualy saved them,So y just open console with this buttron(~)(under esc)and type: \save_game 1(y can put 2 or anything else if y dont want 1)and when y want to load it up to play y type:\load_game 1.But when i tryed that on my version 1.0 Far Cry which is non-steam version it didnt worked. And i think i found solution to that.If you want that to work y need to open Far Cry as administrator. Then it should work. You wont have picture from manualy saved game like y had when automatic do but y will have game work again.I hope this helped someone. And yea if y want to change settings in Far Cry configurator y should run it as administrator too.I dont know will work for steam version but for cracked it should work.At the end just run it as administrator.

Dont use the default profile. Create a new profile for each difficulty, then all levels and missions will be there. With one profile, missions will be overwritten when you level up.
