Far Cry Instincts port?

Doubt this will ever happen but I managed to pick up a copy of far cry instincts for the xbox original just as the 360 came out and all of the live servers went down for the original and I really loved instincts map editor, new multiplayer modes and feral abilities and I would love to see a steam port of Instincts.

Would be cool. Instincts Predator was the 360 port. It came with The instincts story and an extra story I believe called "Evolution" both really good. The multiplayer was Very FUN!!! however the servers still work for the 360 version... No one plays. you'd be lucky to get a game with atleast 1 other person. Sad indeed.

Id love to see a pc port of predator. I liked the instincts part better then evolution, but theyr both great.

Predator was actually very disapointing because both instincts, and evolution, were stand alone releases for the original xbox. There was no new content, in fact, there were some things taken out of the map editor, and overall the MP was worse (in my opinion). I'm sure had I done a bit more research I would have realised it was nothing new, but I was super hyped up for a new farcry.

Definite +1 here. The feral abilities were extremely well done, the stealth was solid, and the map editor/multiplayer was awesome. Far Cry: Instincts Predator deserves a PC port!

No, please, not predator. Evolution and instincts separately. Predator had ♥♥♥♥♥♥ multiplayer.

Yeah, hopefully this post could pick up a little. I have really fond memories of Instincts and I would love to be able to play it on PC. Maybe it could be like the abandon-ware revival of Battlefield 2, and be free to download.

It is probably never going end up on PC so I was thinking of getting the Xbox 360 version of Far Cry Instincts Predator with its 2 stand alone single player campaigns and still live online servers.

It isnt new. Predator is just instincts and instincts: evolution. There is no new singleplayer content on predator.

Finally received Far Cry Instinct Predators today. It would be nice to compare it with Far Cry Classic especially with regards the additional feral talents.

Far Cry instincts is a better game than FC1. The more sprawling nature to FC1 just made it more tedious due to the frustrating AI and massive difficulty spike midway through. FCI is a more focused story driven game with much more enjoyable gunplay and AI.

As a Far Cry fan, I recently got an old Xbox 360 from a family member just to be able to play Far Cry Instincts Predator. I can say without a doubt that this game is definitely inferior to the original Far Cry 1/Far Cry Classic. Even for console shooter standards the input lag is atrocious, the AI is dumb, the bullet physics are horrible and I have seen much better bullet physics from bargain bin PS2 games. Even when I can look pass the more linear levels and terrible weapon sounds, the game is a chore to play through. I can see easily why Ubisoft choose to release Far Cry Classic back in 2014 instead of Instincts Predator.

I can only ever recommend Far Cry Instincts Predator to the most hardcore Far Cry enthusiasts diehard of fans.
