Key binding problem

Hi, I am having this same problem in FC 1 and FC 2, i cant bind keys like I want and event default binding is completely wrong.

When I took a look into .cfg in folder I found everything configurable and in order for ex. reload under "r" and such, but in game I have reload under "5" and aboslutely nothing I do can reverse it, no matter if i edit .cfg or ingame, no matter if I set compatibility to win XP and such it is still wrong.

I tried to lookup for solution here and on google but I found issues with FC 3 only...

I am running on Win 8.1 x64, and I am having Logitech G110 keyboard with Gaming software installed (from logitech).

Does anyone know solution for this problem?

There are files to establish saves and reloads as F9 and F11 respectively I think, but reloading is done by using the ESCAPE menu, it's soooo easy, how did you miss that, read the manual at all?
Like many games you can't use any key you want for certain functions.
You can save your progress at any time by bringing up the devmode console and typing "\save_game" (no quotes).
Some of those .cfg files get rewritten every game entry or exit, you could risk screwing the game up.

Use the farcryconfigurator.exe to set up the game. You find it in the game folder. that could help solve some problem, but most it is for solving graphic problems.
i never had this kinda problem with key-binding, but I never used win8.1 either..

Wow this is old post O.o But no, I actually refunded FCs back then beacause of this so I don't have any solution even after these years and multiple new PCs.

So I've tried GOG version and it's the same thing, for me its "e" and "r" keys registering as "2" and "5". No idea why. I've tried to change it in games directory config file, still the same. It's like you're pressing the wrong keys. So my solution for now was select "Q" for "USE" and I reload with my 3rd mouse button. I need some time to get used to it but for now its better then not playing at all.
