Far cry REMAKE 2020 ?

Capcom released all the old resident evil series in remakes............
why not Ubi ?

I feel it could make them money + it would make the people who played the original feel like ubisoft is finally giving them attention. However ubisoft probably won't ever release it.

Far Cry 1 isn't a ubisoft game (Crytek). If Ubisoft should remake a FC-game it should be FC 2
(best story, great wildlife etc.).

There were two remakes of Far Cry 1 already. First was on OG Xbox and 360 called FC Instincts it was complete new game where only concept and characters names are common. Second was 2012 console port of original Far Cry on Dunia Engine (not CryEngine like original so it's remake) for 360 and PS3 made as cash in on Far Cry 3 popularity. Sadly there is no decent Xbox emulator to play Instincts I remember when I was a kid and big Far Cry fan Instincts was one of my most desired games I considered is way cooler version with dual weapons and mutant powers

I don't want a remake by Ubisoft. They make boring af games. Just enjoy Far Cry. It's a very fun experience.

I thought a remaster of Mafia 1 would be a great idea,and look how that turned out.Can anyone see a remake of this one being any different?.

mafia 1 remake graphics are stunning ....i wish they could do the same for far cry 1..pff..where are you crytekkkkk...you remastered crysis 1 ..why not do the same for far cry..didn t the game sell well back in 2004 ?

Great graphics does not make a great game.The original Mafia 1 is far superior to Mafia DE,even with its dated engine.Devs dont seem capable of remaking/remastering/reduxing any game to a really satisfactory standard.

Sounds like a good idea.Let's do it! I would vote with y'all.But not only for Far Cry 1 RE:make also Far Cry 2 is in need even more then Far Cry 1 for a RE:make,because of the bugs,glitches I found there.
