"Here is a workaround for everyone who got issues with the autosave feature: navigate to your FarCry installation folder \FCData and open "ZZZScripts150.pak". Go to Scripts\MenuScreens and delete "Campaign.lua" as well as Scripts\MenuScreens\Ingame "InGameSingle.lua". The only drawback seems to be, that the quicksave-option is not available anymore within the menu. So you'll have to decide which of both you prefer. "

"So I started to experiment with the config files. And FINALLY I found a way to use very high on lighting quality!

Just go to your FarCry directory, should be in steam/app/publick/farcry. Look for system.cfg and edit it with notepad.(Only use notepad, other editor will likely make the file unreadable by the game). Look for r_ShadersPrecache. Right now it is probably set at 1. Change it to 0. Then relaunch your game and set the lighting quality to very high. And you wont be bothered with the crashing ever again!"

Quicksave what ya mean Willis!!! No QS in FC that I have fround. Sucks..
Have to start from scrach each time

To Quicksave: Ingame - Open console (button over TAB, left of 1) Write: \save_game 1

Works find for me.
