Button issue navigating menu's with the keyboard
Is there a way to implement the ability to map switching tabs on the menu to buttons? Right now, switching tabs on the menu seems hardcoded to Q and E, moving up and down the menu uses the movement keys as mapped by the player, so if you prefer to play with the ESDF-layout instead of the WASD, you're unable to use the E key to navigate the menu.

Hmm how about using AutoHotkeys to swap keys? Like R acting as E and E acting as W only?

It'd do in a pinch, but it'd still be annoying because the on-screen key notifications would still display the old keys. Not to mention I was really hoping that after playing Ys VIII with auto-hotkey (that was before Durante implemented full key customization, back when movement was still locked to WASD) I wouldn't be needing external tools anymore.

Aaaand, I just got to chapter 2 where the F-key is now hard-locked to returning to your base when on the map screen, turning the map-screen from semi-unusable to completely unusable when using the ESDF-layout. (I know there's an option for mouse control, but I do like being able to navigate menu's using the keys instead of having to move the cursor over buttons, it's often a lot faster)

I hope this can get fixed. I realize the game has a lot of key bindings and was programmed to use a controller, but implementing key rebinding while still keeping certain keys hardcoded to certain functions, especially if those keys aren't stuff like Esc, kinda defeats the purpose.

Yeah I can feel you there, I was hoping IX allow camera bind to numpad keys or whatever so that I can keep playing using keyboard only - movement with arrows, and commands with ZXCV (jump, dodge, attack, guard) - as I've done for 9 previous games. It didn't happen, even with request, so yeah... this is the first Ys game I played with mouse. It is completely competitively doable, but the Flash Guard/Move doesn't really hit it for me at times (prob due to latency). Anyway, there is a workaround, but I had to use 2 programs to simulate keys (ReWASD + AHK).

Well, I hope devs read this and willing to add more optional choices, just like swapping confirm and cancel.
