Adol Christin's Travelogues

Based on Adol Christin's Travelogues, he writes 100 books from his journey. Monstrum Nox was Book 8 from total 100 books. And the books that already got adapted to video games are :

So, Ys video games wont stop after we got Ys CI (Ys 101). Nihon Falcom release only 8 from 100 books of Adol's travelogues in 35 years. And we wont able to read & play in our life time of Adol's final adventure that he wrote in his final travelogues books.

The world will end before all the travelogues are available. Anyway they're not doing them in order so they might skip a bunch.

[Fluff Fact⚙ry]

To be fair a book doesn't have to be a canon game, there could be books about cultures, artifacts, specific characters and locations in those 9 events. For example in Ys I-II, there are 6 book of Ys to find, thus he could write about them, and the same for other games.

I wouldn't take there is going to be 100 Ys games tho, unless Adol got into a curse/event that prolongs his youth or sth.

Adol went missing after going to the North Pole. Missing doesn't mean dead. He could explore space and write more travelogues for cosmic audience.
