2 Adols?

I'm currently on chapter 5 and I'm still not really sure what's up with the Adols (the one in prison and the one outside with the monstrums) am I missing something or will they explain it later on in the game?

It will got clear near the end (chap 7 or 8, I don't remember exactly) and, although not really a surprise, it was very good storytelling.

the crimson king is the real adol and jail adol is his long-term mental health issues manifesting as a tulpa that looks and acts like a parody of him. the barrier around the city lets fakedol be visible and interact with the world, if realdol and fakedol meet they will fuse and become superdol

Sry, that was so out of the mark that I can even quote. If you want to write a parody you should do a warning to the people about that, even if at this time OP already finnished the game and so knows the truth.

The Crimson King is just another red-haired guy named Adol who happened to be caught at the same time as the usual Adol. It's a total coincidence and they actually have no relation.

Just to clarify: one of them is Adol, the other is a clone with the same memories until the time of his imprision. They seems to share some conection, but overal both have different paths that contibutes to the story. . Don't worry, it will be explained near the end.
