I recently got my steam deck. Anyone played the game on it and can tell me how well it runs on it and how the controls feel in handheld mode?

I found this, in short there will be drops, not constant 60fps all the time, however, still much better than Switch performance.

Great video, thanks for posting it. I was actually looking for how well Ys IX performed on Steam Deck. I think I'll stick with my PS4 version running on PS5 via backwards compatibility.
