Didn't finish the game yet, just started the final chapter.
> I thought it was Dana speaking to us the whole time.
If you're talking about the blue petals, that's not it.
The words by the blue petals are roughly the words of the winged people who are treated as gods in Ys,
or something close to it,
beings that Adol has encountered in his past adventures.
Is Dana in it or not?
That's about it.
Then there's a way to access the water well, the path to hidden treasure and the dungeon in the Dandelion's basement without doing all the quests in Saradhi's quest line? All three of the quests she's involved in open optional areas that are required for 100% map completion.
Go to the well at the farm and enter it. The same in dandelions. Go inside saradhis room and click on the door (entrance). Dont know which hidden treasure you mean but im pretty sure you can just go there and enter it.
But I think you just misunderstood me. I mean, you need to complete the quest but after the quest you are free to enter the dungeons anytime. So, even you missed 0.1% in that dungeons you are able to enter it.
No, you're the one misunderstanding OP. OP said they missed 2% possibly due to sidequests. Three areas require sidequests to become accessible. You are correct that they remain accessible later, but if their quests were missed, they aren't accessible via other means.
And no, you can't just go in and enter the path to hidden treasure outside the sidequest. It requires Raging Bull's gift to unlock. The game prevents you from using it there (in the quest she busts it open in a cutscene). You can't use Third Eye in the Dandelion's basement to find the hidden door there if you missed Saradhi's chapter 5 quest and that doesn't isn't magically open for you because the quest is needed for her to open the door up for you. Without the quest, Saradhi doesn't get access to the basement to find the door and open it. So yes, map completion can be missed if you miss quests since that blocks access to areas that count towards 100%. It's not the sort of missable that if you miss a chest you can't go back, it's the sort of missable that if you miss X quest, you don't visit the area.
