What does the STA mod changes?

I've been recommended to use the STA mod if I get this game. What does the mod add/changes?

It's a complete overhaul, adds a ton of new tanks and new campaigns and single missions, also fixes a lot of bugs.

Expands the game no end. A must have. Many hours of entertainment. I've only used the free mod but I want the paid for recent version. Free is still superb though. I love SF as it's one of the few that has Inf..yes maybe abit basic but they are there and add so much immersion.

you got this to work? the STA mod logo doesn't even appear on my splash screen, and the 4gb patch isn't needed with the Steam version and it already has the mod loader in it.

my game is up and running just vist http://itmsf2008.forumotion.com and join the forum its all explained there i started years ago to mod the sf i got from gamersgate it was nearly impossible but with there help i got it done but now with the steam version it is a lot easier

can some one give me a copy of the sta mod files or something...i cant find or figure out how to download nor install and cant find a good source to download from.some help would be nice
