Screen Resolution

Main menu screen resolution to large can't see options on right how do i change this?

any help please

1. Try if alt+enter works in order to make the game windowed.

2. Try if changing the desktop resolution makes the game options show up.

3. If you make it to the game options, try clicking the system box on the right to send the big box to the background and try clicking on the video/graphics tab on the bottom to see resolution options. Also, check both Use Desktop Resolution and No video mode restrictions options.

4. If the problem persists, go to SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Steel Fury Kharkov 1942\data\k42\loc_rus\config and adjust bb_wid, bb_hei, bb_freq options. My 1920x1080 config looks like this:

bb_wid = 1920;
bb_hei = 1080;
bb_freq = 60;

Hopefully I might have been of some help.

I had to change the engcfg to txt then back again to engcfg.

Funny, I have tried everything described above in this thread and it didn't help. The game ignores all my changes in the config.engcfg.

Found the solution. If you can't fix the zoomed in menu by either changing the config file or using the mod, check your windows desktop scaling. It should be 100%, not bigger. If you use 125% or more (like me), the game will be zommed in and you can't fix it in another way.

Is your Win 10 scaling on 125 ?. I set mine to 100 now the whole menu fits the screen.

I have made a new profile. Then check the box "no screen video restrictions", then select the resolution you like, quality, etc and always select APLY

Guys, there's much easier fix to all of this and you don't have to change your scaling all the time.

Find the starter.exe in local game folder, right click> properties>compatibility>press button Change High DPI Parameters and there at the bottom swtich to:
Override high DPI scaling behavior, scaling performed by: Application.

This also works with other games with such problems, like Armored Brigade
