Is it worth buying?

I have had this one on my wishlist for a while now and I saw YT videos and I am thinking about buying it. But the reviews are not that good. What do you thing? Should I get it or is it not worth the price tag? Are there still updates or is it "abandoned"?

If you really know what you're buying, then yes.

If your incorrect in your assumptions on what the job actually is in game, Nope.

It's an arcade taxi driving job game behind the wheel. It has minor management in offering Passive in come employees to get extra money with other cars you upgraded from, it's this SIM management part that gets the SIM in the title as without it money income is reduced.

Its not altering the suspension on the car by 0.5 to get better handling or moving the brake pressure 1.5 on the front, its not a sim in that way.
Its arcade upgrades Its you buy a new brake disc and fit that to improve your brakes in the min van to level 6. But to have better brakes than that, you need to buy a brand-new car that can have level 9 brakes and 0.3 tons lighter car.

There are limited things to see and zero story, its free roam mode from day one if thats what you want then Yep buy as thats all you get.

Taxi driving is very repetitive job and the game will be after you unlocked the final car.

I got about 30 hours out of it. It was a cheaper way to see some of Barcelona than flying there over the ocean.

Pedestrians have a death wish in this game.

In the end I got it for cheap money. It is not as bad as I thought. Engine sounds are meh but I find it pretty relaxing, knowing that after an hour into the game you have seen all there is. It is okay for a couple of trips while taking a break from other games.

I had enough of Simteract , I won't buy any game from this company. They all are arrogrant , incompentent and weird.

It means you are no right to tell them what to do , they are their own boss. They do anything when they want , they decide the time as well ! They may be do it , may be not. Costumers or players just stop told them what they have to do , even it is a bug of their game , they don't give a fxxk.

A fix for this is not currently in the pipeline as were trying to bring steering wheels to consoles

We are aware that this is happening, not only to you, but to other players as well. I know it's a little visually annoying to see, but it's not game breaking and if we decide to fix it - it will be after patch #5
They don't know what is immerse at all !!! It is very important to any game !!!
They CHOOSE to make a option to REMOVE THE "DOT" in the center of the screen rather than fix a BUG !!!

I so regret bought Supporter Edition , I shouldn't support them. They are arrogant. They think they work so hard.

The Latest patch so dissappointed , skip anything I care about ! Now they only focus on wheel support on console , developer call this game "simulator" should wheel support on day 1 !!! Don't buy any game from them , you will regret ! for example : Train Life , a player said developer abandon it.

After 4 patches :
Manual car driving problem , super sensitive accel and easy to stall never fix. ***(Mike - Coommunity Manager who have been driving manual for the last 7 years or so. He said it on discord > Simteract > Taxi Life > #general-chat on 2024/02/28.)***
One passenger get on and three in the taxi , so weird , since DAY 1 NEVER fix (They will fix when they want !)
Fov slider only support from 105 (Day 1) to 110 , not enough for triple screen ! This game never support triple screen. I am not ask for "TRUE Support" , ask for Fov only !!! (We need up to 150). Developer refuse to do for their customer !!!


The coming patch I don't think they will fix any of the bug and problems I reported to them since long long time ago !!!

true, they won't fix any if it is not game breaking..they just do shoddy work and that's enough for them.

They could at least fix what the game says it's supposed to do, like being able to look around while using mouse steering. This game is too arcade for me to wanna pull out wheel, but would be nice with mouse steering that works = you have to be able to look around a bit too.
