I have a question regarding map unlock
Hi,

I have a question regarding the grayed out areas on the map that I cannot go to. How do I unlock that grayed out area that I cannot access?

Thank you.

You can't unlock that

Yep, there are no areas to unlock. The whole drivable map is available from the get-go.

So it is a map of Barcelona, but you cannot access all of it. Nice.

Read their blog, you will see that this is a work in progress. They are a small team, and they created a functional, visually impressive 1:1 map, along with working vehicles for the user and AI traffic. It makes sense to make sure all of these moving parts are fully working together as intended (there are a few hiccups currently), before moving on to expanding the map. They have already stated that they will look at doing this once the above is accomplished. Take a look at ATS and ETS2, and how long it takes them to create expanded maps (several months typically, and that is with a relatively large team). Yes those maps are larger in area, but they are also not a detailed; just take a look at Paris, London or San Francisco, and you immediately realize how much less detailed they are compared to this 1:1 map of a part of Barcelona. Give them some time.
