Thrustmaster TH8S needs support too. Or a keyboard shortcuts to change gears manually, to asign shifters with external software like antimicrox.

It will work if you connect TH8A to your PC via USB.
Depending on the game, the TH8A may not work if connected to the steering controller using the DIN terminal.

I´m using a TSR300 with a TH8A Shifter, can´t asign the gears in game and my TH8A is connected via USB to my PC :/

EDIT: Allright, the TH8A IS actually working. Don´t forget just to change the controlls to steering wheel, a bit further down you need to change Custom Setup from OFF to ON, after that choose your wheel and under additional device 1 choose your TH8A, after that scroll down and change your gears with your Shifter, that did it for me.
