First impressions and doubts
The game seems very interesting, and the city also seems to be reproduced very faithfully, I hope for a future chapter set in Rome.
But what makes me strange is that I don't think I've seen the taximeter inside the cars, I'm a taxi driver in real life and as a rule in all taxis in the world they have the taximeter to be turned on at the start of the journey for a customer caught along the way after he raised his hand in the street or if you go to pick him up on call.
However, for the rest it seems very nice, I will still wait for some gameplay to evaluate it better.

yeah, i think they should include it if it's not already.
That would be more realistic!

Let us know your first impressions once the game is released. It's pretty hard to have them prior to tomorrow.

taximeters are the last century ...
in fact, I do not think that the game will be of high quality, especially as can be seen from the stream, even the hands did not do it, so this will be another simulator to entertain yourself

I kind of feel the same way. The dude doing the streaming never even used a wheel.

yes, because the main message of the game is this: everything is beautiful, the city, cars, streets... Even the buttons in the cabin, oh look there is a sun visor..
I want to say that the game was made for those who care about the details, but not the controls and physics ...
but it's a pity... We'll have to wait for the next taxi game, where the gameplay is worse, but maybe the physics are better

even turn signals are a useless thing, because bots won't care how you turn

In my country we don't have taximeter. Customers just use app and it pay with you card so you know the whole price before you get in

"Taximeter" is kinda useless . Its 2k24 , you order your taxi/bolt etc. via application and you can check the price what will it be. Simple as that. Taximeter was found out to rob people and thanks god its forgotten.
Anyway , the game feels like an early access game , I can't see any enjoyment in the gameplay . Hope the game turns out good , gonna wait some days.

Whether a taximeter is useful or not in the age of apps is irrelevant. This game purports to simulate the driving of a licensed taxi, meaning a person that payed a license to the city/state to have the right to bear the large "taxi" sign atop its vehicle, and is obligated to charge according to a strictly regulated fee structure that is calculated and displayed by a verified piece of equipment called a taximeter. If this main piece of equipment has been omitted it's just ridiculous.
There should be taxi meter regardless it is 2024, so I can take a long route to scam npc, and I would want to know how much I made from this passenger

Lol, yes, that too. After all it's one of the basic tricks of the trade.

ahh yes as opposed to video games that don't entertain you. I prefer only those.

Yes, and it's a simulated EU city. Licensed taxis uses the Uber model here now, too, and those who don't are basically out of business because customers, for some reason, deny being scammed by some crook, fat, smelly primitive with turbo wank.
