Night is Coming

I just saw this the other day and immediately thought of Gord. Is this something they copied or took inspiration of I wonder?

Gord is great but I wonder what this "Night is Coming" is cause I am in a way grateful for another of these games but it looks so similar to Gord which is odd.

Maybe a Doom Clone kinda situation which is fine but thought people would like to talk about it and maybe it will be a hit or a miss. Thoughts?

Yeah, saw that trailer. It seems to be norse/northerner only focused though. Gord had potential, here is hoping that new game does better.

Not a copy, both started development around the same time for all i know.
Hard to compare the two games because both play vastly different.

Also where Night is Coming is an EA title, Gord is finished and for all i see, sorta dead.

Night is coming is full of bugs, but at least its alive and devs are responding and fixing them, compared to this dead one.
