Why don't people self-service meadery
why don't people self-service Meadery and Balia, have to choose each person to enter Meadery, very annoying

true. and going back to work after. a big concern for all players as I can read. I like the game but these things (with items management) has sure to be improve to give the game a chance.

Because you're the boss and can get them into trouble if they slack off unless given permission.

Besides, it's not that hard to keep an eye on things. The sanity bar drains slowly enough. Just be careful when getting thatch or fishing. As for health, it's only really an issue when going into fights. People heal slowly already. The balia is there for faster healing.

You also have spells. Rejuvination is a good one for curing poison.

Thatch and fishing become less of an issue once farming. Base is mostly built up by then. There's also light sources like campfires in the wild. If your subjects were trying to use what's at base then it would cause them to move if you don't want them too. If they use them when at base you could want them to stand somewhere instead. The only way around that that I can think of is having a toggle option for things like "Use meadey" and "use balia". A tickbox for automatic use or not. But then that defeats the point of being punished for being careless and not telling your underlings to head there. Which honestly isn't that hard to do because of how slowly sanity falls unless out in the wild and exploring in darkness (in which case use your torches).

Mate, some like to micromanage. Others despise it. Tip-hat to you that you're vigilant over your bots. Kudos.

Please. This is hardly Starcraft levels of micromanagement.

Play Rimworld. Starcraft. Xcom. Then talk to me about micromanagement. Compared to those games it isn't that bad in this game.
