The Twitch drops were activated on August 14th, and many of the creators have streamed the game a lot. However, it's true that you can't access the drops while they're playing other games - I'll pass this onto the relevant team and see if there are any options moving forward.
(f.e. CohhCarnage only streamead the game once , day1 early and only for like 2 hours which is the double of the req. time for the drop, but stil feels like the exact bare minimum, and it seems like he has no intention to do another stream)
Note: at least other streamers afaik streamed the game at least twice
Also I remember one of the older Marauders Twitch Drops, where one of the drops (Tony's Armory) was tied to a streamer who had zero intention of streaming that game ... So ppl had no chance to get his drops :D ... but in that case his drops weren't unique, so caused less of a problem.
So yeah, tying drops to specific streamers is not a good idea ...

If they were paid to stream these games, a fixed set of schedules should have been announced so that viewers can plan for them. Set some alarm or go follow them and get reminders. And expect these streamers to follow through their part.
The campaign was a cool idea but poorly executed. Vague Aug 14th-20th date with no schedule was just really bad.
Some streamers did it once and then they never stream it again. And like the person mentioned above, that one streamer (not to be mentioned) I had his entire stream that whole day with "Gord later" and he just played a fighting game all day working on some foot action and then never actually played it.
These exclusive drops is bad for viewers as we're often trying to get drops and nobody is streaming it. Following streamers and waiting around for them to stream when they're playing other games.
What's also bad is that some of these drops are associated to DareDrops even forcing dare drop streamers to watch these 'selective' few to get skins to do the dare drops.
While, feeling a bit jelly that some of these streamers were selected for a custom drop campaign. At the same time, exclusive streamer drops is often bad for other content creators who can't enable drops. (also very bad for viewers too as mentioned above) You guys would have had better viewership if you had done what Diablo 4 did and just make it a global Drop Enabled for anybody who streams.
Anno1800 did this exclusive streamers list only before. Having select white list of people who can do drops. So when I stream anno1800, nobody wants to watch my stream playing it because I'm not providing any drops. Basically it funnels my viewers somewhere else. This is just bad for marketing, when you could have way more people promoting the game to their own respective community to boost the game. It's like this, Why would I want to hype and stream your game, if I'm competing with a white list only. It's just unfortunate that this game is competing against BG3 and also having alot of game design issues as well, so its not a game they're like omg i gotta play this every day during the 14-20.
As a viewer trying to get these drops, those listed streamers never bothered to stream the game enough to even collect drops. And it was frustrating finding somebody listed to watch.
And then on top of this, we have streamers who click bait saying they have "drops enabled" in their stream title knowing full well they're not providing any twitch drops to their viewers. you're not one of the selected drop streamers, why are you saying you got drop enabled?
Hope whoever is doing this marketing campaign for twitch drops learns something from this fiasco.
What is really bad though is the release date was 17th. And the campaign started on the 14th. Which makes it hard for anybody who just bought the game to go grab some drops if streamers did their one and done on the 14th or 17th when players just started to buy it and learning about drops. Especially if DareDrops started the 17th to get keys for other streamers. If the listed selective few did it on the 14th and didn't stream at all after, the DareDrop tied to twitchdrops were kind of pointless. Luckily there were a few who did do Gord streams after the 17th.
Nope. Not announced on the store page news. Not anywhere in the forum or pinned. Not announced in the News and Events of forum either. The only announcement was a tweet only on the Gord twitter account.
Only reason I learned about it was from the Dare Drop Last Rites dare. and then having to check the Gord twitter account scrolling around to see what it's about.
If you followed their twitter this is it:

It's possible that the drop event or campaign was planned ahead of time when Gord was suppose to be released August 8th. So doing the drops from the 14th - 20th would have been a perfect timing for the drop to get players who have the game already get hyped to watch the streamers during those times. The game got delayed til the 17th.
I think I seen copeylius play, once. These streamers are sponsored to promote Gord and they're bizzy making other content. Even if these other folks supposedly played the last two weeks, where were notifications? So much for that marketing expense
They recently had a drop campaign between Oct 1 - Oct 15. BUT this news is NOT posted anywhere. Not advertised on Steam Game Page, Not on events or news announcement, not on twitter. I only noticed it from the Twitch Drops campaign page. Of the 3 people they reactivated the campaign drop for, only ONE person actually streamed during that time frame.
Kind of frustrating there's no news no schedule nor announcement.
There's a new campaign for Oct 16 - Nov 11 and only 2 streamers are associated to that.
