Hello,
Thank you very much for your report and sorry for the inconvenience.
That's not a know issue on our side, we would need to see your game files to investigate.
To get them, just copy the line below in the file explorer and send us the Pharaoh folder.
%Appdata%/../LocalLow/Triskell Interactive

after the issue described above, I replaced the family.meta file from a different backup and was able to restart the mission i was on, and completed it. but after completing the last mission i was once again unable to see the family name on the list. :(
(obviously the "test" family is not the one i have been running through the campaign with)

being synchronized with steam, you can try moving your file to another location, and let steam generate a new one for you, it might work for you, otherwise you can always put yours back in place.
When I did that the family still doesn't show up on the screen to select them. When I check the folder it re-creates the family folder name, with no meta file at all.
Hello,
Really sorry for the inconvenience.
During our tests we also realized that the issue was related to your "Family.meta" file which was empty.
The behavior is quite peculiar, but here's a workaround that we added when you have time to try:

Let us know how it goes.
We remain at your disposal if needed.
Hey there,
Thanks for the follow-up. We're interested by your save if you can.
