Saves corrupt after 1.1.1

I had no issues prior to 1.1.1 following Mar 21st patch with save files not loading. After 1.1.1 immediate issues with all saves. I sent off my family file to Triskell on Monday, hoping for a response soon. Maybe until then someone has come up with a solution?

Save file issue

hey there
i stopped playing yesterday, having finished saqqara. i started with meidum today, having a visual bug i decided to save & re load the map. upon reloading my safe i was getting a save file error message, i went back to my last autosave on saqqara and upon completing it again and going to meidum i got another safe file issue. any ideas?

Corrupt save game (maybe related to wood workers)

After I fixed the "foreign army invades" bug with the workaround, my save game has completely died now. With every regrowth cycle of wood the game pauses and I have to manually unpause it. After saving and loading it tells me the save file is corrupt.

Maybe it has to do with wood workers as some of them are stuck on my map like forever. Pathfinding is also bugged, the cut wood at the opposite site of the map although there is a huge forest right in front of them.

Im getting the exact same thing. The game crashes in the end.
Kinda bummer when your only source of income is wood.

Trade works for you? My trading partners never trade although I have opened trading routes, built a dock and set up buying/selling storages. Don't know what's wrong.

Mortuary - Elite Housing Bug?

I have a simple closed block for elite housing that appears to not receive mortuary coverage anymore. It devolved and are stuck at their current stage. When the mortician passes, it evolves and then devolves again. All other needs are met.

Oddly enough this was not an issue last night, I got the houses to max level and maintained. But that save file got corrupted somehow, probably another bug that I’m seeing some people experience regarding their saves

I sent my stuff already. It's the same save game which I sent for the "foreign army invades" bug. Just change to English and continue playing, you will immediatelly see this bug. Found no workaround by now so it's kinda unplayable again. To be honest I still play, but I have to click the unpause button every few minutes :D

Not sure if my save will be corrupt every time, tested it once and continued playing to see if it solves itself, but it does not. There is this one wood worker which is stuck, may causing it. I loaded an earlier save file, switched to English and with this save file the wood worker is not stuck so I could switch to this save file. Although this save file is not corrupt after saving it still shows signs of the wood bug because I still have to unpause the game every few moments.

Save/load bug

After loading a save file (not an autosave) during the Saqqara mission three times or so, my game is no longer able to load or save any files. Trying to save a game freezes the game for 30 seconds then gives an error pop-up with title "#IN_GAME_SAVE_ISSUE" and body "IN_GAME_SAVE_ISSUE_DESCRIPTION". If the game tries to autosave, it'll freeze for 30 seconds then crash to desktop. Any attempt to save produces a save file with a size 0kb. Trying to load these files, or any of my good save files, produces an error pop-up with title "LOADING ISSUE" and body "Something's wrong with this save file!" I can still open a fresh mission, but without saving, I'd essentially have to do missions in a single sitting.

I've tried verifying integrity of files, reinstalling, getting rid of my save files and restarting a mission from scratch, restarting, turning off cloud saves, playing a new family, and I can't seem to fix this issue. Anyone else have this issue or any other ideas on how to fix it? I'd consider turning off autosaves and just trying to get through missions in one sitting, but I'd rather not risk spending an hour on a mission that might not save its completion.

Save game corruption is worse than I thought

Even auto saves are corrupted now. I lost a lot of progress since older save games and those I created manually are corrupted as well and I didn't realize bad things are going to happen. Not sure what exactly causes it, but that's not even alpha state. It's a reason for refunding, but I won't. I hope for a patch, hopefully soon.

Solved.

Fixed by disabled cloud saves in Properties, uninstalling, deleting all Pharaoh files from AppData. Was also able to bring back my save files, so nothing was lost.

Still, save file corruption issues may be coming from loading too many times in a single session.

EDIT: Replicated issue by repeatedly loading in a single session again. Fixed by simply deleting the Triskell Interactive folder in AppData/LocalLow. Keep the Family folder in a backup folder to preserve the save files. Re-run Pharaoh to regain the Triskell Interactive folder, then replace its Family folder. No need to uninstall the game. Probably.

Impossible to load a save.

I was playing the campaign and I was defeated because I lost too much money.
I decided to retry the mission, but the game went to the main menu instead, then I tried to reload my save. A window appeared "LOADING ISSUE - Something's wrong with thie save file!".

I tried to reboot the game, to reboot my PC, and to verify the installation with Steam.
I'm gonna create a new family, but I have to do the campaign from the beginning :(

2. copy the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Triskell Interactive\Pharaoh to another location
3.Delete C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Triskell Interactive\Pharaoh
4.start the game. saves will be loaded from steam cloud

I'm having issues with loading as well which doesn't help when the game suddenly crashes. I even updated with the latest patch. Would be good to fix for the next update.

Same here, all saves are unloadable.

Guess, I play Predynastic Egypt from Clarus Victoria now until this is fixed.
