They stopped building the Pyramid (Saqqara) - Is this a Bug?

I am at 37% and everything stopped.

It stopped at those 37%

I also have the no win problem despite finishing the objectives :(

I finished the pyramid, all burial goods show up as green when I click on the pyramid status (does this mean that I delivered them?) and nothing. The rest of my ratings are above the needed amount :(

Am I missing anything?

I've build it 4 times already and everytime is gets stuck at different percentage, 29,33, 37 and now 40%. Plenty of wood, burial provisions sent and it's not on the top of the map... I give up 😔

Make sure you have some Carpenter's Guilds and some wood. They're needed to build wooden platforms so the workers can climb up the higher the Pyramid gets.

Had the same issue. Worked as soon as I built a Carpenter's Guild. Looks like it's just not mentioned in the pyramid UI.

Yeah, one change from the original that I loved is that you can literally just press a button and deliver the burial supplies. Some of the coding in the original breaks the chain making completion impossible.

This. You'll need platforms to get the stone to their rightful place. So get a carpenter's build ASAP when doing pyramid construction. Also, if you can, get your local wood supply going because pyramids eat wood like jetfuel and it's an excellent export.

Do you have a carpenter building and wood? I don't know how much progress is done at 37% but remember they have to fix the foundations first and that adds %. How many layers of blocks are there? If there is one or two layers you need to have a carpenter to build scaffolding to get higher up.

Happened to me when i built the mastaba.

the bug resolved itself when i logged in the game the next day. suddenly the bug is gone.

but i encountered another bug in Saqqara mission. I already finished everything including the stepped pyramid, but the mission won't end.

Problem with stuck pyramid - progress at 37%.
For me helped to removed pyramid and start building again, you need to have some woods and working carpenters before you start building pyramid otherwise work will stuck.

I can confirm this. Happened to me on Saqqara as well. Replaced all builder camps, then it worked again.
Also, no information if your missing wood or a carpenter or both on the pyramid build status info. I just knew that carpenters and wood where missing because I watched a OG Pharaoh Lets Play a while back.

So my fix, I had to delete the pyramid and start over and it worked. My guess was that at the time I started construction, I had no wood, so although I had some when it was required to build ramps, it seemed like it didn't register because it wasn't there from the start.

Some people might not actually encounter a bug, but are missing certain elements:
You need to import wood and have the carpenters guild, cause for a certain height ramps must be constructed for your people to ascend to higher levels of the pyramid.
No bug sollution or anything, but it took me a while to figure out, why construction did not continue.

Mine stopped but then i fixed it because a path to one of my store yards wasn’t connected. As soon as i connected it all the minions wanted to go to that particular storeyard even though i had like 6 more maxed out somewhere else. Hope this helps someone out there

Two things I've noticed regarding stop at 37%. I suspect that it's not good to start building the pyramid without having a carpenter first. I did build the brick layer beforehand, but as soon as it reached the point where the carpenter has to build the stairs to the pyramid, everything stopped. So build it beforehand (and yes, having carpenter + demolishing / rebulding the pyramid did the trick). And second - if you press speed 1.5x button one more time, it goes to 5x mode! So don't be an idiot like me, who rebuilt the whole pyramid in that slow motion and found out that you can speed up everything at the end of building ;)

I just had this issue also on Saqqara and i only overcame it by deleting the pyramid (37% complete, 2 plain stone levels) and starting again.

First time:
* workers camps, stone masons, plain stone quarry and lots in storage
* NO wood, carpenters guild
* all burial provisions provided

I tried twice deleting the guilds but no change. I hoped filling the burial provisions would help but it didn't.

Second time:
* Amazingly, burial provisions aren't destroyed when you restart the pyramid, so I didn't have to redo that.
* Ensured wood in storage and supplied to carpenter's guilds (I have 2).
* 2 stone masons also.

So far, I am now on 4th level and 40% complete... fingers crossed it finishes now.
