As far as I know, no. They have fixed a ton of stuff in the mods apparently, pretty much all of the leftover annoying bugs, but apart from the desirability devolving one.
If you join their discord, there's a "mods" channel there, it will keep you better updated on what stuff they'll fix or improve further on.

Appreciate the info. That bug is the only thing prevents me from buying this game, really.

Appreciate the info. That bug is the only thing prevents me from buying this game, really.

Same to me, I mean to keep replaying the game, cause it was hell with that bug everytime you loaded.
Seems like they saw our posts here, looks like a fix may be incoming.
So just keep an eye on their "mods-discussions" channel on their discord.

They did fix the houses devolution bug if you download the latest mod pack.
Just be sure to check the gibhub notes of the mod pack, apart from all the bugfixing they also did some other improvements or balancing to the OG of some mechanics, or where the mechanic was missing, you can toggle some stuff on or off depending if you want the true OG experience, or maybe keep some stuff like they redid them in the remake if you want a bit more chilled back game, in some aspects.

- Fixes some causes for the bug that caused housing to devolve after loading a saved game.
This fix may not be retroactive for some existing saved games depending on the existing desirability around the houses. But once the houses have evolved back to the desired state after taking care of the desirability requirements, saving and reloading should no longer cause the houses to devolve again.

- There may still be some rare cases where houses devolve on reloading. This will usually occur when the houses have expanded into gardens. In such cases, the workaround is to increase the desirability through other means to evolve the house back. In general, having slightly more desirability than required will prevent this issue from occurring.

Just to help bump this into the public domain more, the bug fix mod pack has really helped improve the stability and playability of Pharaoh A New Era, and i definitely recommend people to download it to get the best experience possible!

The Discord package is generally updated on a weekly basis [currently on a pause for the festive period], with the Nexus Mods copy updated once a month, it does mean the nexus mods version is more stable but a little behind the more recent version offered on Discord.

The mod pack is shared in the official Pharaoh A New Era discord server [owned and maintained by Dotemu and Triskell], the invite link is here: https://discord.gg/pharaohnewera

Once you have joined the Discord server, head to the mods-discussion channel and then click the Threads button at the top of that channel, and then the Bug Fix Mod Pack thread should be listed there. Once clicked, the download link is provided as the most recent post.

If you’d rather not go to Discord, then the earlier link shared for Nexus Mods will work perfectly. :)

I'm amazed that the modders have achieved what the developers have failed to do. I stopped playing this game because of the bugs.
excuse my ignorance, but how do i add this mod to the game? is there a mods folder? where is it?

Hello, all you need to do is either join the official Pharaoh A New Era discord [link in my previous post] and go to the mods-discussion channel there, which has a thread for the current version of the mod pack, or you can download the same ZIP from Nexus Mods [linked earlier in this thread].

Once downloaded, simply open the zip and then go into the folder within it. Extract [or copy/paste] the contents of the folder [it will have Bepinex, ModResources etc] to where the Pharaoh.exe is located for Pharaoh A New Era.

If you run into any issues, the folks over on the discord server will be happy to support! :)

Hola, todo lo que tienes que hacer es unirte al discord oficial de Pharaoh A New Era [enlace en mi publicación anterior] e ir al canal de discusión de mods allí, que tiene un hilo para la versión actual del paquete de mods, o puedes descargar el mismo ZIP de Nexus Mods [vinculado anteriormente en este hilo].

Una vez descargado, simplemente abre el zip y luego ve a la carpeta dentro de él. Extrae [o copia/pega] el contenido de la carpeta [contendrá Bepinex, ModResources, etc.] en donde se encuentra Pharaoh.exe para Pharaoh A New Era.

Si tienes algún problema, la gente del servidor de Discord estará encantada de ayudarte :)
