Starving citizens...producing a lot of food
I am on the North Dashur. I am having issues. The major one is that I never have food in my graneries, I have 10 farms dedicated to food production, the advisor say's I am producing a ton more food than my cities need. He also say's my people are leaving because they have no food.

I am at the starting tax amount, and the citizen's are ticked that I have high taxes. Yet I cannot seem to make much if any money.

Have you allowed your food type in the granary.
Re tax, tax only income does not cover expenses, you need to export goods.
Lower taxes favours immigration together with good pay and services.

you also might need more bazaars to distribute the food. Especially if you make housing blocks that are packed with hundreds of citizens.

My granaries were empty, so my bazaars had no food to distribute. As for trade, I was trading everything I could but barely anything was being exported. I ended up cheating victory so now I am fighting disease in On despite having hospitals and apothecaries on every block.

Wait for another harvest, and watch what is happening with food. Maybe you are selling everything. Or maybe you are growing too little, because your farms have low fertility (because of too low inundation and no irrigation, or whatever).

Forget the tax
Pharaoh's money making is from exports, no matter the map - well except where you can bulild gold mines but even there, never hurt
In North Dashur you should get some barley farms installed as soon as possible, as beer and barley will provide your main sources of income. Or just Beer
8-10 brewer and you will swimming in money in no time
Pharaoh will ask you for grain (and lots of it), straw, barley, limestone, so sometimes you have to stockpile, but generally easy to fulfill his wishes and worth it

Don't mind the food, set up your industry, your poeple will not leave you if they have jobs and relegion
Watersupply in a 17*8 loop with a temple and physican is enough

S - Shrine/statue
X - Roadblock
F - Fire house
A - Architect post

Then modify by adding apothecary if needed, dentist of you want, or next the 3x3 Temple a Courthouse, entertainet, whatever you want to evolve. But even if you don't add the baazar, the tons of Sturdy Huts (28 occupant/hut) will be enough workforce for your farms + industry to kickstart your city and add bazzar to evolve them with food and temple in to Shanties and Cottages

I don't want to be insulting, but are your granaries and bazaars set to receive and distribute food? One of the new options is set both to not receive, same with docks. This is the way I play as I like to control what gets stored, traded and distributed.
