Industry stops working. Bug?
In the middle of the game, all my industries stopped working with no apparent reason. Sometimes the fishermen stop going fishing as well.
- The wages are good,
- The flow of raw material is here but stops in front of the buildings
- They all have all the workers needed
The only half-working solution I had was to destroy the building and rebuild them but it doesn't work all the time. Anyone have faced the same issue?

there is an industry switch in the trade overseer; there are two clickable icons; the one on the right shouldn't be crossed otherwise the industry will stop working.

I've encountered this a few times, and the root cause is usually the deliveryman/cart pushers.
They are stuck because they 'think theres no place to put the goods...
Sometimes it makes sense, but other times its a bug.

For example, a Storage Yard set to Get goods might return to the Storage Yard at the same time some other production building adds goods into it, making it full. In this situation, they both get stuck if nothing else can accept the goods. Ive even had deliveryman carrying nothing get stuck standing there waiting for space (despite carrying nothing).

Other times during construction the road pathing changes and the deliveryman gets confused and gets stuck/lost.

The switch is on and the industries don't work even when they have the raw materials in store. For the fishermen, the boats just don't leave their dock while some others do. Never seen such a "feature" in Pharaoh in 24 years.

To contribute to this; I've noticed that my reed gatherers don't seem to spawn properly; as in, *not at all*? Loaded a new level to make sure, and... zip? To put it as a joke; "Every reed is safe" in my copy of the game, it seems.

Addendum: without having formally tested anything, it seems as if reloading a save fixes the issues of the missing reed gatherers?

Do you have a place to SEND the output? An open Storage Yard, etc.

Yes, I double-checked twice trying to understand what was going on. I even made a new one and made sure it got *only* reeds.

I build a Storage with raw materials and finished products as close as possible to the Production.
Therefore, the probability of trouble with the porter is extremely small.
But sometimes, very rarely, I've got Productions hanging for no apparent reason.

Fishing Boats bug related to Unemployment?
Solution
- give high priority to Fishing Boats (Workers Advisor);
- build them when there are Workers (Unemployment is greater than Zero);
- not allow Unemployment to be less than Zero;

I suggest that the fisherman come back to work when the carrier appears so to optimize the time. Naturally in that way, if the fisherman arrives to his dock and the carrier is not came back yet the work should stop.

..and then it dawns on me that it's the same thing.

I guess is that if the number of workers in the Building drops to zero during the porter's journey, then the Building freezes.
