Turning off industries vs deleting them

Is there a way to toggle industries off? Not seeing the option under and of the overseers. I end up just deleting the industry so that they'll stop producing.

I believe you're looking for the switch in the trading oversee. There are two buttons, one to force stockpiling and the other to disable the industry.

You can toggle industries off and on in the Commerce Overseer, but I don't think it works for food. I had two graneries filled with meat, switched it off but they just kept hunting the darn ostriches.

it doesn't work, there is way to toggle them off, but it doesnt do anything. definitely doesn't work for barley, also didn't work for fishing -- they did stop fishing -- but the wharfs still hired workers, so its essentially a waste of workers , but for barley -- even production doesn't stop

So far, I have tried to toggle off fishing, barley, grain, chickpeas. Does not work for me and, yes, I am doing it correctly.

It's broken for plain stone, jewellers, and straw, too. Annoying AF to have to keep resetting the "turn off" option every fifteen seconds.

the best what is working, is chosing priority with the worker overseer
