Black screen on start, can't proceed
I was ready to feel like nine years old again and... nothing. Well, not really nothing, just a black screen and the cursor. For a short moment, a loadingscreen was visible, but then again a black screen. Sometimes it crashes. Looks like I have to wait for a hotfix.

Game Crashing when I go to play the first mission.
Every time I click on Nubt and go to start the mission, it loads for a bit and then crashes.
A message with a red exclamation mark appears along with a picture of a pyramid and says something like Pharaoh.Unity. with a bunch of numbers at the end like 'Pharaoh.Unity.11223434' for example. I couldn't read it all before the game closes and I'm returned to Steam.

Any ideas on why this might be happening?

Stuck at loading screen
need your help with the game. purchased today on steam - download and installation done smoothly but when I start it I see loading screen where background is changing - I hear Pharaoh music and sounds - the whell is turning on the bottom - and I have a small black square with green outline in top left corner. nothing happens, game is not starting. please help. I have changed to start as Admin and also moved Priority to REAL Time. nothing works

It froze my Pc on first start
Anybody had this problem? It just came up as a black, then white screen, and no response. After 10 minutes I had to force reset my computer.
I have a GTX 1070, and a 4K monitor. Did the game get confused by 4k? Or was it my pen tablet also being plugged in? I'm baffled. Was looking forward to play this game again in HD.

Game keeps crashing?
Every time I go to load a mission/map the game keeps crashing.
Tried changing resolutions and all that but still crashes every time I go to load a mission/map.

yea, i have the same issue. NVIDIA 1080, installed on a SSD. At the beginning i see for 0.5 sec a Picture but then the Screen is just black and backgroundmusic. annoying :(

I guess we have to wait for some fixes and updates.
The worrisome part is that it froze my pc completely, so I had to force reset. I def don't want to do that, so I'm vary to try it again

Problem with start game
Hi, does anyone problem with open the game? I saw only intro, after I press on play, choose the mission and after my screen get black. I must restart PC by hot start and try again. Now its the fift time and I start be really confused and desperated :-) Any advice? THX

I tried to run the game again, with the task manager open this time. The memory usage (I have 32 gb ram) went up quickly to 80, then 90+ % , then i force quit it. It has memory usage problems.

The same thing keeps happening to me, crashing when i go to load a mission/map

Not sure why, tried changing resolutions and stuff like that but still crashes each time. I wrote a post and messaged the developer team but haven't heard anything back from them

thanks for reaction, please can you let me know here, when you will get response from developer? Even i uninstall and again installed and still the same problem.

More or less the same here. I just only get a very short flash of the game graphics, then a completely black screen

I don't even get the flash of the game, it starts with a black screen, freezing my pc. I noticed it starts using a 100% of my 32 gb ram, leading to freeze, definitely not normal

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4720HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
Memory: 12288MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M
Dedicated Memory: 2008 MB
