The original music would be extremely difficult to top. Using anything else risks disappointment. I'm not sure how, but it absolutely transports you back in time.

This is Louis speaking, and I am the composer in charge of transcribing + arranging the music for this remake.

As a player myself, I totally understand your concerns. Be assured that I am doing my best to respect the music Keith & Henry created 20 years ago.

In addition to that, I have been discussing with Keith about my arrangements and he felt quite happy about them, so I think there are chances that you will like them too :)

Agreed! I also hope that they keep the original music. That soundtrack was super cool back then when I played the game as a kid, and it's still awesome to listen to today as an adult whenever I play Pharaoh + Cleopatra on Steam. :D

That's powerful... or even such super epic, when it may become bathos.
I feel like it need something to smooth the third percussion strike on 0:43
