Biggest mistake is the pricetag. Even if there is offline solo you can tell the game is not made for it.
It's an arcadey game, feels like a modern beat'em up on the hack'n slash line, so replayability is mostly for fun, not to be rewarded by systems (as in deep permanent progression).
The BIG problem with steam reviews is that it became a race to find the funniest phrase to scrounge up awards. And very often they have nothing to do with a real opinion on the game.
Steam points have literally ruined the credibility of the reviews system.
At this point- FULL CASH GRAB (opinion)
At a future date- IF CONTENT/REPLAYABILITY CHANGES then not as much a cash grab, just a game that had no content at launch.
(To be transparent, I did get a copy of this game for free, and its an amazing 12 hour experience. Worth trying 100% at one point. Pick your price. The art style and theme of this game makes me badly want more, it just doesn't exist.)
Needs loot loop, needs gear to upgrade, needs to be longer than 10 hours.
At least D&D Dark Alliance is
This one is waaaay better.
