Hi Rocky, I'm in your [steam] friends list and a member of your site [aka Struth_]
I approached you about promoting the Gamerecon system for GRAW2 but you didn't like the .iso being available for download - with keys that are widely available in a Google search, no matter.
I hoped to try and preserve GR, GRAW and GRAW2 .iso's for download on my site including the online connectivity that GameSpy provided, in the same way, other groups of devs have done with the battlefield 2 series here... {LINK REMOVED}https://battlelog.co/downloads.php
EA know well about the project and have not interfered as yet. battlelog.co have created a launcher that downloads the game and installs it for you, (licenses to boot!) you can then connect to their network, it's very clever and although I may never get as far as they have with the ghost recon series I will do what I can to preserve what has now become abandonware. I could really do with more love and support from gr.net but I understand you have your hands full with GRW - rant: personly, I'd rather play PUBG, its a better game and reminds me of OGR, so thats nice : )
I have an iso for OGR that will install without the need for a key but haven't been able to find the same for GRAW2. it's a bit sad but at least you can play in coop and tdm
If the community can somehow regroup, I will push the project harder but for now, at least, it has stalled, however, the database is working and I have no intention of taking it down, you can play it together online using the launcher.

Wildland is great but yes I do still miss GRAW2 and all those mission mods, they were great!
I'll see what I can do to drum up some awareness of your project :o)
Hi Rodro, see here - https://gamerecon.net/graw2/
My friend and I are trying to use the Launcher, it modified the hosts file to contains this IP address 185.101.93.68 which is unavailable:

Is the server still running?
Thanks for your help
Jon
yes the servers are running 24/7, you must of downloaded an old version of the Launcher. Did you get it from ghostrecon.net??
The current version is 3.1.0.0 (shown in the top left corner of the app)
The updated IP has now changed to [192.210.241.54], I may have changed a domain or too so to be sure download the current version of the launcher here, you don't need an account
https://gamerecon.net/ it will update the necessary domains and delete anything not needed.
lets know how you go and If you need any other help don't hesitate to ask.
Cheers
John H
Yes, we got it from here http://www.ghostrecon.net/files2/index.php?act=view&id=1422 which is 1.0.0.5.
I'll look for a newer version and try again. Thank you for the quick reply and thank you for keeping GRAW 2 multiplayer active.
Jon
