Drink, vegetable stew and letters

I have 2 quests since forever and one more question:

1. I've got the quest to eat vegetable stew somebody seemingly gave me before - but I don't have it. Maybe I gifted it to somebody else or sth like that. Does anybody know the recipe or is it something you only get once?

2. Quest wants me to get a drink but I can't seem to get the right one - which one is it?

3. I got two letters I can't read although I should with the left mouse button (it's shown that I can):
- "a letter from a stranger" - it's sealed with a seal and I can't gift it to Wallis. Now what?
- "a letter with a fragrance of jasmine" - it smells like jasmine... nice. Now what?

I found both letters after Amina came to town. One was inside the mushroom house.

Check if those are simply Guide quests. They're meant as tutorials during the start of the game, to give lost players a nudge. The "drink" it might want you to get is the first Spring juices that Du, the orchard owner, produces, as part of his welcome gift to you.

1) it's a guide quest. The dish name is inconsistent, it's called vegetable chowder in the recipe book. And you may have to eat several before it registers. I'd ignore this quest.

3) Can you read them if you go to your inventory?

3. Now the only descriptions are "it's sealed with a seal" and "it smells like jasmine". No more hints. Looks like an envelope.

And thanks to ruff1298 - the cherry drink was indeed the right one!

1. I made about 10 vegetable chowders, saved my game and ate them all. If you don't finish he quest reload and eat them again until it clears. I had this issue too.

Does anybody know about the king fish "Red Dragon Carp"?

I got the quest "The fish king's pursuer" from Hart and he told me to fish in front of the town in a small pond. So I tried for a few ingame days to fish in what appears on the map with the name "small pond" but I didn't even get the red/pink silhouette like I did with all 4 other king fish.

Is there a special condition to be met (can't be weather or daytime, been there I think) or maybe it isn't a king fish? The silhouette is the same as in the collection but the description of the quest says "red dragon" not "red dragon carp". I fished anything there from normal to silver to gold and I updated my rod to gold, same with my fishing level, but I haven't found it either way.

Edit: And I know now what to do with the letters - you can read them in your inventory by pressing f.........
