Can I choose to play as a female character and get married to another female NPC character in the game?

Does the game let you get married to a female NPC character if you choose to play as a female character?

You can date, but not get married yet. It'll be added, but we don't know when exactly

I hope that same gender marriage gets added soon. I hope that Song of the Prairie gets released on PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch 1st, but same gender marriage is also really important.
