Spirit egg, pet shelter glitch

So i had a glitch in the mines that i fixed by restarting the game but it caused my spirit egg to stop interacting. initially the shelter vanished (fixed by restarting) but the egg stopped interacting as if it had no egg there. anyone know what i can do to fix this

Sorry for the delay. It's a known bug, but it's not easy to reproduce, which makes fixing it more difficult. What glitch did you experience in the mines? Maybe it'll help with figuring out what's triggering it.
