Where to find Ancient Coins or Sapphires

I have hired a worker and built a workstation as I found a few Opals, but I need 5 Sapphires to built the collection box before they will do anything. I cant seem to find any from hitting different ore nodes. I saw with Jin I can exchange Ancient Coins for either Opals or Sapphires but I havent found any of those either. Are they in the Mine? I am up to level 3 exploring the mine.

Coins are in jars and that big pot that sits in some people's yards. Break them. At least that is where I have found some of them. You can find the gems in the mine too.

Thanks. I need it to rain again so I dont have to water all my crops and can go out and loot peoples houses and break jars for coins. At the moment after I feed all my animals and water all the crops (with the worker just sitting there staring at me) the day is over and it's time for some light reading and off to bed...

Cheers, I noticed Opals were dropping from the copper nodes so hoped Iron would drop Sapphires, but i must have been unlucky. I ended up getting 5 coins from jars and trading for 5 Sapphires so I could build the collection box.

Trees and ores have the same Drop formula

Trees drops Common wood + The Wood Type (1/1+) + The Rare Wood Type (1/20-40+)
Ore drops Common Stone + The Ore Type + The Rare Gem base onOre Type (1/20-40+)

think i got 11 stacks with 999 stone, kinda hunting for Sapphires, need 35 to upgrade blacksmith. i havent unlocked anything to do with the stone yet
