Evenicle 2 - Cancellation of the full release on Steam
We would like to announce that we will not be able to release the full English version of Evenicle 2 on the Steam store as we had originally planned.

We sincerely apologize to all our fans who were looking forward to play Evenicle 2 on Steam and we would like to take this occasion to sincerely thank the Steam staff for giving us the chance to list this demo on their platform.

Sincerely, the Alicesoft team.

Just do the fricken patch like EVERY SINGLE ONE of other publishers here. For gods sake why both you and MangaGamer are that stupid to understand that making a patchable through steam brings more profit than not releasing at all.

Only a few mangagamer VNs haven’t allowed patches on steam version

It's not that simple, Kara no Shojo 2 was similarly rejected, patch or no patch. And there are many more rejected games, hundreds actually. See this list[docs.google.com].

It is simple. You remove H stuff completely and that's it. You're in. It's just that they rather pay (((they/them))) twitter "translators" and cringe "mosaic" redrawers and not an actual good coder.
MangaGamer's Bokuten was removed from steam because they keep some of H elements in, uneducated mob started sreaming that steam is bad and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but the moment they removed rest of H elements Bokuten came back.

It doesn't matter in the end. it's either on Steam with regional price or we will have another "Employee" twitter cries about how "whaaaaa....nobody buys our games!!!! and we don't know why!!! probably because pirates!!!"
But of course if they unironically believe their "voiced slideshows" are going to sell on nobody-cares-platforms for 50$ as good as first Game did HERE ON STEAM then they are even more delusional than MangaGamer.
Feels bad. Can't grab it "on other storefront" because no other storefront have decent regional pricing for our country. And yeah it's that simple. Do like with Eyiuu Senki - remove all H content, make patch off steam.
Well that's too bad. Can't really get it on another storefront, so whatever. I was really looking forward to this.

Evenicle's page is still up for me
I'm getting an error when trying to go to the store page. Either an error or it just won't load to be specific.

edit: It's probably bugging to me because of a surge or something.

The Key to Home was a T rated game and it still got banned by Valve.
Maidens of Michael had a patch and it still got banned because someone complained about it.
Curse of Kudan was also banned

There is a certain Formula/method that must be followed to get your stuff approved.. pretty sure certain publishers have now mostly figured out that formula.. dont need to name who but yea its easy to figure out.. remember that Valve restored Bokuten after certain things were removed by MG.. thats a big hint in and off itself of how to go about doing things .. too bad many Publishers especially new to the scene find it difficult to figure that out

The Key to Home doesn't have a patch because it was never a porn game to begin with.

Maidens of Michael was published by MG themselves AND had a patch on top of that but the steam support absolutely refuse to answer any question about that game.

EDIT: There's also the DLC (as DLC that add more content, not DLC as in uncensor patch) for Kagura Game's Niplheim's Hunter - Branded Azel who was outright refused by steam with no reason given.

Actually it is just targeted harassment. Sekai Project has released a lot of child hentai games on Steam without any issues at all, because the mass reporting crew like them. But they think mangagamer is a bad company, so they report all their titles and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

It is also possible the mass reporters are just 100% clueless and don't know of the denpasort site, so they can never find any proof of the children in porn games on Sekai Project's home page. If so, the solution seem to just divide your company into all-ages name and porn name, and fool all the idiots who think they are protecting the world while they don't even know which companies produce hentai games.
Just release here a fully censored version without any H content and release a external patch (on mangagamer / self hosted)
