Glitches Galore??

Okay, so I bought the Prince of Persia series on a whim because they've always seemed interesting and $7.50 for the entire pack sounded like a bargain.

I'm starting to think UBISoft is one of the WORST video game companies in the history of video games.

I tried playing "Sands of time" but random glitches, unresponsive controls, etc. made me just become fed up with the game. Cut to The Warrior Within.

So far, a pretty good game...minus the fact that I CANNOT get passed the "Chasing the Woman in Black" section because EVERYTIME I try, a random glitch hits like the Prince bouncing 50 feet into the air and into the pit, a random leap from nowhere into the pit, etc.

Is it just me or are these games seemingly unresponsive, glitchy, and downright cheap at times due to potentially shotty craftsmanship? I'm legitimately asking here, because I've gotten to the point where I just want to uninstall it and say goodbye to this series.

wrong ....they work fine...just stop hitting the wrong button and you ll be fine...lol....i have a 360 wireless controller and remapped the buttons thru the pinnicle profiler software i have....and ubisoft makes great games ...what are you talkiing about????...seriously remap your controller so you stop hitting the wrong buttons...lol..get a program like xpadder which is free or buy pinnicle and download their free profiles...the original controls that are mapped for this game suck

lmao you r too funny the games r not bad at all n specially sand of time,warrior within and two thrones they r very good true some buggs here n there but maybe u dont how to play then ? tip for warrior within STOP button mashing learn the prince move n soon u will owned that black lady like a pro.

I know this is old, but I know EXACTLY what you mean. Every time I walk off a small ledge or step the prince gets stuck in the falling animation for a few seconds, gliding around the step, and fairly often is thrown into the air and killed. I don't think the above commenters even read your post.

There are some glitches with modern gamepads. Try to play it with the mouse and keyboard and you should be fine

Finally beat it, I can admit camera controls were absolutely dreadful, but gameplay was fine.

I got screwed over by the "portal glitch" in Warrior Within. One time I went into a portal multiple times (Past/Present/then back to Past). Apparently, if you ever go through the same portal more than once, it causes an irreversible glitch at the end of the game. When I shove the Empress of time into the portal to the present, I can't follow her into the portal myself. I slogged all the way to the end of the game just to be denied the final boss fight.
That's a helluva frustrating glitch.

It has NOTHING to do with hitting the wrong buttons, forward isn't the jump button, he isn't supposed to jump into the air.
he doesn't fly forward, he flies UPWARDS, and that NEVER happened in the 2004 version.

the steam version is full of bugs, the no drm version works fine.

and stop using those 3 dots after EVERY single sentence.
