This or Prince of Persia HD Trilogy for PS3?
The trilogy has been remastered with improved graphics and widescreen support, which the PC version doesn't have. Unfortunaly, it was only released for X360 and PS3.

Question is, can I get better graphics (resolution, widescreen, shadows, textures, lightning, etc) on PC using mods (if any)? What about controller support?

If you compare the games next to each other the pc version looks better. Plus go google warrior withins ps3 face vs the pc face. ugly graphics for a ps3. You can use special software to play at 1080p but not higher. I do this on my GOG version of The Sands of Time. Game looks great for such an old game.
