controller support

picked this game up on sale because nostalgia, and who can argue with a $3 price tag. i saw it had controller support which is obviously a godsend for pc ports, but im having trouble, ive got a standard microsoft xbox one controlller and i cant get it to register in game, if anyone has any advice or tips id happily take them on board

this game was a ps exclusive. i think it can only register ps type controllers

I have an Xbox 360 controller and it works fine after some fiddling with the setup.

Use Steam Controller support and enable Xbox Controller in Big Picture. This should help the game recognise the controller.

Always use this site for game fixes. Download and replace pop.bif with either the Xbox or Playstation controller file.

all you have to do is double click the keybind, i have my xbox one controller up and working with it

Hi everyone, thanks for posting. The game is listed as compatible with 'dual analog' type controllers in the system requirements. As long as Steam is able to recognise your Xbox, Dualshock or Steam analog controllers you should be able to play with your gamepad.

Please make sure to select this in the games properties by right clicking on the game and selecting controller, this should recognise your gamepad as soon as you launch the game. If you are unable to select gamepad in the games controls settings, exit out the game and try again making sure your controller is connected already, as the option for gamepad in the settings should appear and not be greyed out.

If you start to experience any interference with the controls, try unplugging your mouse and keyboard and use a usb connection with your pad instead of bluetooth to connect to your PC.
