A Helping Hand - Big mistake

Hey guys,

started playing PoP after 10 years on PS3 and overwrote all my saves.
Unfortunately in the quest A Helping Hand, where you barely escape the Dahaka and you travel through time again, I got lost and apperently can‘t turn back without dying.

You‘re supposed to find the room of time glass or whatever. Unfortunately, I went through the known way, which you walked before (where the castle‘s bright and not dark/cold) and turned up at the portal again.

I can‘t go back, and at the ceiling in the hall room, the bridge is broken, and there is no way you can jump over there. Or is there a way to get back to the room?

So you are at main hub area? (big open room with pits on both sides and 4 collums at mid)
The gap that near the end of rocky bridge is reachable by the jump. You just need to run and press jump right before the edge.

I am sorry that you cannot get back to the room in "A Helping Hand".

Could you please try the suggestion by @Justice (thanks for that ) and see whether that helps?

Sure I try, if necessary I record a video and post it here. Already invested 3-5 hours in the game, don‘t want to give away the time^^

I see what you mean. Unfortunately I didn‘t go this way but went the other way that you already went in the previous quests (crawling up the broken walls, jumping to the pillars, and then heading back the known way). You turn up at the portal again in the end. Unfortunately I overwrote all my saves, so I couldn‘t really go back…

I went this way, turned up at the portal and managed to get back from the portal room to this point: 1:30 minutes.

Well yes, I need to get down again, don‘t I? Because once I took the wrong way and reached the portal again, I can only go back, which means I have to go from the ceiling to the bottom of the hall… I think to explain it better, I‘ll record a video

forgot to ask: have you killed Shadee yet? Until you kill her - door across that gap on rocky bridge will be closed.
There is balcony on main hub area. Big rocks laying around, which you can climb. Then jumping on pillars and then to balcony

Yep did that, the lady in red and me parted ways and I went up, till I reached the portal. Landed back in reality, barely escaped the Dahaka, travelled through the portal, went the wrong way (up to the ceiling in the same room, where I killed Shaedee) and then noticed I can‘t go back. That‘s why I‘m stuck

Take a better look around in that area where you fought Shadee, there should be climbing path around the destroyed stairs. Afterall there is even art work chest right outside the entrance, which points out that this isn't a dead end of no return and meant to be backtracked for completionists
